Other Commencement Events

The Doctoral Hooding Ceremony is one of several ceremonies that take place during commencement weekend at the University of Kansas. The doctoral hooding occurs the Saturday night before the university-wide commencement exercises on Sunday morning.

On Sunday, all graduating students have the opportunity to participate in the commencement procession, walking through the Campanile and down the hill into Memorial Stadium for the commencement ceremony. The Chancellor's Office provides information about the university-wide commencement ceremony and related events on Sunday morning.

Commencement is a separate event from the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony, so please review both websites thoroughly. For individual school or department graduation event information, please contact the school or department or visit their website.
