About the Ceremony

The Doctoral Hooding Ceremony celebrates the hundreds of graduate students every year who complete a doctoral degree. In order to graduate, all of these students made substantive and original contributions that advanced the state of knowledge in their academic fields. These students have mastered the cutting edge of research and pushed past it, marshaling evidence to create new knowledge. This Lawrence campus event celebrates graduating doctoral candidates come from the schools of Architecture and Design, Business, Education and Human Sciences, Engineering, Journalism and Mass Communications, Music, Social Welfare and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Registration will close on March 31!

Anyone who registers after March 31 will not have their information included in the program.
